Serial "Agenci NCIS" opowiada o grupie agentów, którzy mają za zadanie rozwiązywanie zagadek kryminalnych mających związek z Marynarką Wojenną i Korpusem Marines. Grupą dowodzi agent specjalny Leroy Jethro Gibbs, doświadczony i twardy były komandos. Pracuje wraz z byłym detektywem z wydziału zabójstw Tonym DiNozzo, specjalistką sądową Abby Sciuto i lekarzem sądowym Doktorem Mallardem. Do drużyny dołącza wkrótce Kate Todd, agentka Secret Service, a także nowicjusz Timothy McGee.

Brakuje jednego odcinka z sezonu 1, odcinków jest w sumie 23, tym brakującym odcinkiem jest 16, gdy terrorysta włamuje się do siedziby NCIS, a u Ciebie 16 tak na prawdę jest 17 odcinkiem
